Quest Tea was born out of a shared love for tea – our personal and passionate connection to the elixir and our commitment to placing Sri Lanka in the world map for liquid gold.
To our Founder and Tea Master, tea is ‘liquid gold’ that transforms time and slows its pace. A warm cup of tea takes him on a journey through the verdant emerald hills of Sri Lanka, the wispy air that threatens to cause chills up his sleeves, to the wiry hands that pluck with ease, to the brightly coloured houses that line the hills, the smiling faces of brown skinned children waiving as he whiz past them, to his ancestral home where tea was a shared moment of joy between the family.
Tea is a passion, a story in every cup. It is a cherished moment of peace before the start of day, a refreshing end to a hard-earned day. Each cup has a song of its own, backed by the gentle hum of the winds dancing through the bushes of the much loved Ceylon estates.

We are a family-owned business, determined to share with you our deep-rooted love for Ceylon tea grown and natured in “Sri Lanka” as known today. With over 35 years of experience in the tea industry, Quest Tea presents orthodox single origin teas that have been meticulously sourced from ethical tea gardens across Sri Lanka. Quest is a connoisseur of quality teas, plucked and packaged in the most ethical manner possible. Our passion is to bring to you the best Teas that are not usually commercially available.

The estate workers of the Ethical Tea Gardens we source our teas from are also part of our story; Their faces lined with years of expertise and smiles that convey a thousand dreams. Our hope is to give them an opportunity to sing their song through our alliances with organisations that work directly in support of these workers through are CSR programs. The teas we present are carefully curetted products not only to sooth your taste buds and refresh you but also to inspire and empower their lives and give flight to their dreams.
